Provence-Villas Booking Terms and Conditions 2010

1) All confirmed bookings must be accompanied by a completed and signed booking form and a deposit of £100.00. The balance of payment must be paid six weeks prior to commencement of the holiday. Failure to do so may mean that you will lose your reservation. Any bank charges incurred by us due to non-clearance of your cheque(s) will be met by you.
2) If you wish to change your booking after the deposit has been paid, we will charge a £25 administration fee and the requested change will be subject to availability.
3) If you have reason to cancel your booking, we must be notified by phone as soon as is practicably possible. This should then be confirmed in writing. If the booking is cancelled more than 8 weeks before the commencement of the holiday you will lose
your deposit. If you cancel within 8 weeks of the start date you will be liable for the full cost of the booking, regardless of whether the final balance has been paid. However, where possible we will endeavour to re-let the weeks cancelled and if we are successful, we will refund the balance to you.
4) In exceptional circumstances, it may be necessary for us to alter the booking for reasons beyond our control. Should this occur, every attempt will be made to make other suitable arrangements with as little inconvenience as possible, or all payments made will be refunded without delay. We cannot accept any further liability for losses or expenses resulting from this. We also have no obligation for any alterations caused by Civil Strife, sickness, bad weather, strikes, transportation problems or any other circumstances amounting to Force Majeure.
5) We cannot accept responsibility for injury, loss of life, loss or damage to personal property whilst on our premises unless caused as a direct result of our own negligence.
6) Clients are expected to act sensibly at all times with respect to the property and its contents and in and around the swimming pool. The rules pertaining to the swimming pool and its use are exhibited in the pool house and must be adhered to. The swimming pool is fenced in accordance with French legislation and clients are requested to ensure that they always close the gate to the pool area and maintain proper control of their children. Likewise, noise at the property should be kept to a minimum between the hours of 22.30 and 08.00 so as not to disturb other residents.
7) The number of people using the holiday home shall not exceed four. A baby under 2 years of age and sleeping in a cot provided by you is not included in this number.
8) The owner of the property or his agent must be allowed access to the property at any reasonable time during your stay.
9) Things do sometimes go wrong. Should this happen, please contact our agent/representative as soon as possible during your stay. Once you have returned home it is harder to investigate any complaints properly. Therefore, we regret that we are unable to accept any claims once a rental has been completed or to enter into any correspondence concerning such claims.

10) Any bank charges incurred by us due to currency exchange fees or fees charged by our bank for clearing foreign payments, will be met by you. If you wish to pay in euros, the rate of conversion for 2010 bookings will be 1.2 euros to £1.00.

11) The holidaymaker agrees to leave the property and its contents at the end of the rental period in the same condition and state of cleanliness as they found them. We shall be compensated for any damage or breakages that occur.

Booking forms received with the appropriate deposit are accepted on the understanding that these Booking Conditions have been read and accepted by the client.
